Hi, I’m Mary! By day, I’m a secondary History teacher, which keeps me very busy. But when the school bell rings and the marking is done, you’ll find me doing what I love most: painting. 

​

Art has been my passion since I was a child. I used to disappear into my room for hours, and not much has changed since then! Life took me on a detour for about 10 years while I chased after what I thought I was 'supposed' to be doing- school, uni, and work, whilst my art supplies gathered dust. But in 2024, I picked up the paintbrush again, and I am so glad I did! ​​​

I had forgotten how much painting fills me with a sense of calm and joy that nothing else can match. I am inspired by capturing the little everyday moments that make this life beautiful.
